For a long time, she held a special place in my heart. I kept this special place just for her, like a “Reserved” sign on a quiet corner table in a restaurant. Despite the fact that I was sure I’d never see her again.

“We never love anyone. What we love is the idea we have of someone. It’s our own concept — our own self, that we love.”
~ The Book of Disquiet
I want to do a long form post on the nature of reality. I will explore in great detail whether the spiritual seekers and the scientists are in fact seeking the same truth. The post will have both the Vedantic and Buddhist view as compared with Quantum theory and will also touch upon Maya which is an illusion created by our mind. How mind creates it’s own reality and how an observer effects the manifestation of what he observes will all be part of this post. Combining all these mental, physical, abstract, psychological phenomenon how we ultimately know the world or let me say how the world becomes know to us will be quite interesting. May be I will touch upon what is enlightenment and why it’s so similar to a psychedelic experience ?
I will need at least a week of un interrupted time to accomplish this task as I have a rough outline in my mind.
You may be wondering why I am writing a post about writing a post. Well there are two reasons :
A) I shouldn’t forget about it
B) It’s like taking a ‘sankalp’ so it will put pressure on me to finish the post soon
Do let me know in comments if you like the idea and if you will look forward to such an article.
“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived..”
― Henry David Thoreau
